          osa DeBerry King, an artist, a photographer, and a writer is a graduate of Cornell University in History of Art and Spanish Literature, and of the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Passionate about art, art history, literature, and horses, these elements are a constant source of inspiration. In addition to writing, Rosa's creative interests include classical drawing and painting of the human figure and equines. She enjoys horseback riding and finds that painting is like dressage on canvas; dressage a painting of light and harmony on four hooves.

When she is not painting or writing in her studio, Rosa is usually in the barn. But wherever she is, her camera is within easy reach. Currently, Rosa is working on a collection of pictorial essays of the Virginia countryside and painting scenes from her novel.
